- Open the dye bottle, add an appropriate amount of water, and shake the bottle to mix the dye and water thoroughly.
- Next, tie up the fabric in your desired design and apply the dye.
- After applying the dye, wrap the T-shirt in a plastic bag or cling film to maintain moisture, and let it sit for 6 to 8 hours, allowing the dye enough time to interact with the fabric. Placing the T-shirt in a warm environment helps the dye absorb better.
- Wear rubber gloves, take the T-shirt out of the plastic bag, remove the rubber bands or strings used for tying, and soak it in cold water in the sink to remove excess dye. Be careful not to splash too much water to avoid staining your clothes or the work surface.

Do not add water until you are ready to use the dye. Dye must be used within 24 hours of mixing; beyond this time, unused dye will begin to lose concentration, resulting in a noticeable decrease in color intensity.
Cover work surfaces with disposable plastic tablecloths or plastic trash bags to prevent dye stains.
Make sure there is no excess dye powder in the work area; you can create new colors by mixing dye.
Cover dyed fabrics with plastic to prevent them from drying; drying before the dye has fully set will result in weaker color concentration and less vibrant hues.
Safety Measures:
Always wear gloves when handling dye; dry dye powder may cause allergic reactions in some people.
Avoid prolonged inhalation of dye dust, use in a well-ventilated area, and supervise children during tie-dye projects.
Warnings:
May cause skin and eye irritation. Avoid contact with eyes, skin, or clothing. Do not ingest. Wear rubber gloves and goggles. Keep out of reach of children.
First Aid:
Contains organic dyes and sodium bicarbonate. If swallowed, contact a poison control center or doctor immediately. Do not induce vomiting. In case of contact with eyes, rinse with water for 15 minutes. In case of contact with skin, rinse thoroughly with water.
