At WINSONS, we truly care about every artist’s creative experience.
Sometimes, a few users may find their alcohol markers feel slightly dry during use — and we completely understand how frustrating that can be.
But don’t worry — in most cases, this isn’t a quality issue.
Here are the most common reasons and a few simple solutions 👇
💡 Reason 1: Air pressure changes during shipping
During long-distance transportation, changes in air pressure or temperature may cause the ink to move away from the tip temporarily.
Gently shake the marker a few times or lay it flat for several hours — the ink will flow smoothly again.
💡 Reason 2: Alcohol ink evaporates easily
WINSONS markers use professional-grade alcohol ink, which may naturally evaporate if the cap isn’t tightly closed or if stored for a long time.
If the tip feels dry, you can add a few drops of isopropyl alcohol (70–90%) into the barrel or store the marker upside down for several hours to reactivate the ink.
💡 Reason 3: Improper storage environment
Extreme heat or cold can affect ink flow and consistency.
For the best results, store your markers in a room-temperature, sealed environment — this helps preserve ink quality and keeps every stroke smooth.
