In art creation, every detail matters.
To help you get the best experience with your airbrush and alcohol markers, we’ve gathered six of the most common questions from our users — along with practical solutions you can try right away.

💡 1. Why does the spray look uneven or vary by color?
Each marker color contains pigments of different particle sizes, so some shades may appear slightly denser or more textured than others.
👉 We recommend doing a quick test spray before applying to your artwork to check the flow and texture.
👉 If you notice foam or pigment buildup on the tip after long use, simply spray a few seconds or wipe gently to restore smooth flow.

💡 2. How can I protect areas I don’t want to spray?
Use transparent masking film designed for airbrush artwork.
Before spraying, trim it to fit your desired area and apply it smoothly to the surface.
Note: WINSONS currently doesn’t supply masking films, but you can easily find them at most art supply stores.

💡 3. How long does one alcohol marker last?
Each marker contains about 2.3g of ink.
Usage time depends on your coloring area, layering frequency, and drawing habits.

💡 4. What if the nib dries out after long use?
Alcohol ink dries quickly — especially during long sessions or in well-ventilated areas.
You can remove the nib, add a few drops of isopropyl alcohol into the barrel, reinstall the nib, and shake gently.
This will reactivate the ink and restore smooth flow.

💡 5. What if I forgot to cap my marker and it stopped working?
If left uncapped for too long, the alcohol evaporates and the tip hardens.
Add a few drops of isopropyl alcohol, shake lightly, and your marker should work again.
If the ink has completely dried upon arrival, feel free to contact our support team for help.

💡 6. How do I prevent overspray or patchy coverage?
Keep the airbrush about 10–15 cm (4–6 inches) away from the surface.
Move your hand steadily and spray in thin layers — this helps you achieve even coverage and soft color transitions.
