Instead of the usual pumpkins, cobwebs, and bats, let’s try something new this year —
Create your own “Giant Candy Corn” using nothing but a rock and a few colors! 🍬
With just three shades and a bit of creativity,
you can turn an ordinary stone into a cute holiday decoration
that brings a sweet Halloween spirit to every corner of your home!
🪨 Step 1: Gather Your Materials
Making this giant candy corn is super easy! You’ll need:
- A triangular-shaped rock (preferably with smooth edges)
- A Winsons Airbrush
- Two alcohol markers (Red & Yellow-Brown)
- White primer or acrylic paint
- Masking tape, newspaper, or scrap paper
💡 Tip:
Choose a stone that’s slightly rounded with a wider base —
once painted, it’ll look plump and realistic, just like real candy corn! 🍭
🎨 Step 2: Apply the White Base Coat
Use white paint to evenly coat the surface of the stone.
This step is crucial — it helps the colors appear brighter
and fills in small holes or rough textures on the rock,
making your color spray smoother and more vibrant.
Let it dry for about 10–15 minutes before moving to the next step.
💛 Step 3: Spray the Yellow Section
Now it’s time to add your first color layer!
Cover the top of the rock with masking tape or paper,
leaving about the bottom third exposed.
Using the Winsons Airbrush with your yellow-brown alcohol marker,
gently spray the color across the surface.
The fine mist gives a soft, even tone —
and just like that, your candy base layer shines through! 🍯

Once the yellow is dry, move on to the second color.
This time, cover the top and bottom of the rock,
leaving only the middle third exposed.

🎉 Step 5: Final Reveal
Let all the colors dry completely,
then remove the masking paper —

add a coat of clear sealer to make it waterproof and scratch-resistant.
